Gas Mileage sucks and the truck is running like crap... (1 Viewer)

I still haven't had time to replace my fan clutch and the truck is running like crap. MPG has really gone down. Would a bad fan clutch make the truck drag that much?

I had a noticeable increase in power when I replaced my fan clutch- I was able to pull hills 2-3 mph faster with the new clutch. I didn't think it could make that much difference, but it did!

your fan clutch will draw about 5hp to run and might factor in 1 maybe 2 less mpg...but shouldnt drag your engine down to the point of "running like crap" with a huge mpg difference.
