Gas Guage Testing (1 Viewer)

What is the best way to trouble shoot why the gas guage does not work?
It use to work every once in a while but not at all now. I ran new wires from the tank to the guage but nothing.

I have checked all connections and they are good. Tested the wires from end to end and they are good.

It must either be the guage or the tank end. Any ideas how to test either / or without blowing something up?
