Gas getting to engine - no pedal and in gear (1 Viewer)

1978 fj40

Well….. stumped ….

When the fj40 is in gear and driving under load I get a strange wobble or almost a stutter in the engine .., grabbing clutch or grabbing brakes

But

Once in neutral it goes away…

Fluids are topped off, engine timed. New spark plugs, does it in 2wd and 4WD, steering is fine, brakes work fine, parking brake totally loose, rear diff rebuilt

I’m thinking front diff or something in the transfer ,?

Any help is appreciated before I dump $$

driveshafts in phase?
motor mounts?
bellhousing mounts?
remove front driveshaft and see if it still happens

Will check t house mounts!! But

Update—. While in gear… 20 mph or so… with foot off gas. It seems to still jerk forward like it is still getting gas. ….

Too much advance
Not enough advance
Carb delivery of fuel bypassing

Any ideas?
