Hey everyone.

Has anyone had issues with their Garmin PowerSwitch? I think mine may be overheating based on the location. If it stops working, and I wait awhile, it will work again. I haven't tested it enough to see if it's a heat issue, but that's what I suspect.

What do you have protecting the Garmins input (between battery and Garmin)? I've had circuit breakers that trip when too hot and then reset when cool enough.

Good call. I've had that happen too with various resettable breakers. Underhood is one hot place.
 
One of mine is under the hood and so far has not had an issue, even on the trail in extremely hot conditions. It's only used for the air compressor and the elockers, so maybe it just hasn't failed during the brief periods it was needed.
