We have three of the tube style radiant heaters in a large 6 bay shop and they are great. I can keep the shop warmer than I keep my house if all the bay doors stay shut and with opening them several times an hour we still can keep it comfortable.haystax said:I'd go with a radiant tube style system if you can afford it, much more effecient heat. Forced air is what I've got in our shop and it never gets really warm and comfortable to work in. You loose all the heat everytime a door opens.
