Isn't the latch that had the welded catch and rib down the center from an early 40?

I paid $20 plus the ride for the last pair I needed...fifteen years ago. All my remaining latches are dedicated to seat sales. When I have less seats than latches, I will resume selling latches.

IOW, they are a good deal.
