why does it have leafs and coils? How much lift is it?

those are coil over shocks, Man a Fre used to sell them back in the 80's and 90's. back before there were options for these rigs
probably no lift at all

Looks like springs incorporated in with the shocks. I do not know on lift if any. I figure that is irrelevant considering most people will change all that anyways.
