Basically, just supply & demand.

These were never available on US spec Cruisers, so the only way to obtain them is from overseas. So, unless you've got friends/family in Australia or Europe that are heading back here & willing to pack a set of these in their suitcase, or you're heading that direction on your employer's dime; it's gonna cost you more than that to travel to find a set.

I suppose you could scour the internet for some dismantler, in one of those far away lands, that would be willing to ship to the US; but by the time you put the cost of the parts with the necessary shipping & customs fees, it's gonna add up pretty quickly. This MIGHT save you a little money, but the time invested to make it all happen is also gonna be quite extensive.
