What does a newly graduated medical student do with 3 months of down time before starting residency July 1st? Build his personal attack vehicle!

Here are some pics of my FZJ80 with a OME 2.5" Heavy Lift and Dick Cepek DC-1 rims 16x8. I also put new BFG Muds 285/75 R16. I think the ride height is perfect for me, don't notice much stinkbug with this lift. The ride is excellent, much improved over the original stock setup. I am just getting the interior right. The vehicle was broken into at one point and I have to replace many interior parts. I am replacing the carpet, headliner, center console front and back, pedals, steering wheel, brake handle...oh and soon the new cross drilled/slotted rotors with pads x 4. I am trying to get the rear bumper fabricated for me. I am trying to weld steel rear fender parts to the original steel bumper. Anyone done this before?

nice cruiser, looks good. I like the tire/wheel combo

Looks sweet, but I think it would look better if the rims were flat black. (or are they) I can't tell in the darkness...

Looks good. got any daytime pics?

I like it also. Get some daytime pics too. What kinda front bumper is that?

Looks awesome.... ditto on the day time pics.

Looks good!

I have the same wheels, but I bought mine when they frist came out and they only offered them in polished. I bought the 17x9's and had them powdercoated in black chrome, which matches the beltline trim exactly. I don't really care for the polished/shiny wheels on light colored vehicles. I'll have my 2.5 kit on it pretty soon with new 33" Mickey MTZ's.

Man...I luv that Desert Dune color. It's my favorite. However, get rid of the damage multiplier up front if you ever consider going off-road. I just got rid of mine (was only 3 mos old and cost $600 +) and installed an ARB after I realized the potential damage the brush guards have to do to the vehicle...not good!

Yeah, I've been on the board long enough to know better, I guess. Once I get the lift on and do my axle service (thank you Cdan) I'll do away with all that garbage...I rarely go offorad, so its not an issue unless I rear-end someone.

That front bumper is bad@$$! Need some details on it please!

Rims aren't my style, very bling for a lifted rig. But as long as you're happy with them..........
