Nice work, Christo! It's a $50 lift kit!

Sweet! Good find. I'm adding that to my mod list.

boooya! Nice job Christo. One question, will it keep it in low and also override it? Wouldnt mind being able to lower it before a nice highway cruise...

I am understanding it correctly that, when the unit is engaged, you can change the height of the vehicle at any speed just as if you were rolling at 2mph?

Will this work on a 07 LC with the adjustable suspension?

Great!!!

Does this mean I can put my AHC in High for life and also put 35's on?

Read it again, I am sure Christo would have written it differently if it did something different!
The AHC (Automatic Height Control) controller enables the owner to overide the automatic lowerings of the vehicle at speed. The vehicle can be placed in the HIGH mode and will remain there. The controller has two settings. OVERIDE or NORMAL.
EDIT: Or of course you could phone him if you think the information posted is incorrect!

The box will also allow you to keep it in low, but I do not believe the low mode is made for driving. If you put it in low, there is no dampening in the shocks.

As for testing on 07 LC with AHC, we have not done so yet. Will have to check the schematics on the 07 to see if the system is the same as the early model LX470.

You should be aware that if you choose to drive in high mode all the time, the alignment must be done in high mode, otherwise you are going to chew tires.,

Also, if you drive in high all the time, you'll lose shock extension.

If I install that on my FJ40, what size tires do you think I can run?

:flipoff2: :D

Seriously, you guys now if that AHC came available on the Cygnus or was it just a stateside thing?

Ok so.....it CAN be locked and driven in low also...but its not recommended.

i thought the override basicly just killed the speed sensor so it can be adjustible without it reseting once you start moving faster.

From Slee:

oh my god why is everyone trying to disprove me or say i cant read what slee posted.

Normal AHC operation raises the suspension from low to normal at a certain speed. Also, at that speed it will lower it from high to normal. I originally thought when this AHC controller was released that, basicly...it OVERRIDES the speed sensing part and allows the driver to keep the vehicle locked in either AHC HIGH or LOW without it resetting.

I figure the only reason why Slee mentioned it prevents it from returning back to normal from high is, nobody on here would really be looking to LOWER their LX.
