My ownership of a low mileage (130k) 98' LX470 began a couple of weeks ago and I've been crawling all over, the fairly pristine for its age, rig. I've been lucky enough to find answers to some of my questions in the forms and I extensively used the forums in my quest for the perfect 100 LC / LX470.

So I was looking under the hood yesterday and noticed that the fuse box lid was loose fitting. I tried to reseat the lid a few times but it appears to be somewhat stretched out / warped. Have any of you experienced this issue?

The seal also looks to be intact...

PS. If any of you are in the Houston area please give a shout.

Thanks, in advance.

We have 2 LX 470s and the lids are loose on both.

@Jay470 I am in Houston and am part of Bayou City Land Cruisers. We are meeting next week and would love to check out your newly acquired 100. Check out the mud forum.

Thanks, for the confirmation. Guess that's another thing on the list for moisture proofing...
