I'm using the Spectre fuel tank. Here's a link to it at Summit, think i got mine from Amazon though. they're on ebay also.

Did you purchase their tank straps also
No, the tank is the same size & the original tank straps should fit I think. My straps were rusted so I used the ends or the original ones and replaced the rusted part in the middle. The tank appears to be identical to the original in shape & size.
I bought the one off Amazon. Best price out there. It doesn't have the OEM drain on the bottom. They don't make the straps for this any longer. I ended up making some out of steel strapping.

Is there any drain hole at all?
No, the only way to drain the tank would be to drop it and flip it upside down
Here's the same tank, at a higher price than the Amazon link above... higher price could mean higher quality

I purchased an after market tank for my 79 FJ40 from www.tanks-to-pans.com in late 2015. The website does not appear to be active. The pan was an exact fit but it didn't have a drain plug. I had a welding shop cut the drain plug out of the old tank and weld it into the new tank. Do this BEFORE you paint the tank.
