Good day
After driving for a couple of kilometers, there is a strong fuel smell at the filler cap. The tank also have a vacuum, as you can hear the air sucked in as you open the cap
I did clean the fuel tank breather as per below thread
The vapor smell and vacuum persist
Is it normal? Any advice?

...Or this. I rebuilt/cleaned mine last year; fixed the pressure problem.
cheers!

Can you order any of the parts listed above where you are?

If not, there are a few that have carefully cut open the canister and replaced the charcoal in it, then resealed the canister.

That may be a possibility for you.

Someone else also bought a canister for a much newer model Land Cruiser and made it work. From what I understand it was also a bit larger than the original, but it may be more available where you are.
