FUEL TANK--FJ40 (1 Viewer)

[KNUCKLEDRAGGER]

I just pulled the bench seats out of my 72 FJ40. There are two lines attached to a canister in the seatback,some kind of vapor reclaimation ? Can I just run a loop from one end to the other (tank back to the tank)? Is there a better way ?

I found the same s*** when I was parting out a 72


why the hell would they run gas through the seat???

I look in the book and found that it was for emmisions and fuel vapours

looping it will just bypass it I guess
