    Hey,
my fuel tank is rusted out a little and is leaking. Im looking for another one...
Does anyone know what models use the same fuel tank?
    I'm guessing fj40/45 does...

    Thanks

haha thanks for the offer mate, but im in perth, australia

anyways i patched up the hole where its leaking from, fingers crossed it doesnt start to leak again. But now i have another problem. My fuel guage doesnt work! its definetly connected to the sender on the tank correctly, and if i earth out the wire that goes to the sender the guage goes to full. So it cant be the guage.

Do you think i could of somehow broken the sender by taking the tank out of the car and draining the fuel out?
I didnt remove the sender at all.

I'm sure that you've already done this but just in case...check your ground coming through to the tank. It should be grounded so that once the sender starts working, there will be a complete circuit.
