Fuel pump issue I really hope i'm wrong about (1 Viewer)

No problem
And yes that’s the spacer. If it’s on snug leave it be. Wipe it clean and use the paper gasket that came w/ the pump. Let us know how it goes!

Float is level, there is fuel in the filter, and the manafold is holding steady exactly at 15 inches of mercury

And because this is pump 4 this is quickly becoming simple

Took 15 minutes to load the pump with a little fuel, bolt in pump, siphon fuel up to the fuel filter from the tank, take a bit of that filtered fuel up to the float bowl and then start it up



Now i just have to see how it drives
 
Wow. These pumps seem to rarely go out and you're on pump 4? Something doesn't sound right to me. JMHO.

The first three were aftermarket.
 
Must have been some really bad aftermarket units! Mechanical fuel pumps are so simple.
 
One fuel filter installed
Still a bit low though
Dont think it is a big issue

Okay so if you put the right fuel fiter in it runs a lot better
