I decided to take a chance and order a 79 and later fuel pump from AutoZone to have on hand should mine die. This is what I got for $70 shipped to my door. The invoices in the box showed AutoZone ordered the part from Airtex the day I placed my order with AZ. Once AZ received the part they shipped it to me. It would appear this is not a normally stocked item in the AZ warehouse. I guess there is not a huge demand.

The directions cover the insulator found on 1/79 - later trucks very well.

The pump looks just like what is on my truck, which I believe may be the original pump. It comes with two gaskets and is Made in Japan.

Howdy! Looks good to me. Airtex has a nice web site with an easy "lookup" system, but I did not "log in" to see if they sell retail or not. They had a pic of a pump that is similar to the one on my 350, so I might have to check that out. John
