Fuel mileage on HDJ80 (1 Viewer)

Just done a measured run in my 80 with the 1HDT engine. 380 miles using 65 litres of Diesel. works out at 27.5mpg. The Journey was mainly Motorway with most of it at over 85mph. A few sections of traffic snarl ups dorpping speed to less than 20.

27.5mpg in a vehicle the size of my house and weighing more - not thats what I call good economy.

i have to agree, i was surprised at the fuel economy of the 80/91 series HDT...

Here in Panamá one friend tollme about 24 km/g aprox .. in his 94 HDJ-80 with 285/75 R16 tires .. He think is to much .. but I'm see it normal ..
