Where the fuel line exits the fuel pump on it's way to the carb, I'm having a leakage problem. It's not the actual line that's the problem, but the little "L" fitting that screws into the side of the pump.

When it's as tight as I can get it, it's pointing at the block rather than up where I need it to. If I were to eventually replace the pump, would it come w/ a new fitting or...??

Also, my fuel lines (same ones) are starting to look in rough shape. I don't have the necessary tools/knowledge to bend my own out of hard line, can I use flex line? Would it be dangerous to leave it draped over the valve cover or in front of the cover? (b/c of heat off of it??)

Thanks

I would not drape it over it, but secure it with rubber coated positioning, or Adel clamps.

You can try and back the fitting out, wrap some teflon tape on the threads and put it back in, hopefully it will get tight before it is not angled correctly.

If you purchase a new Toyota pump, they come with fittings.

Good luck!
