fuel filter replacement (1 Viewer)

I want to NAPA, Advanced auto, and autozone and none of them have a replacement for my 71 cruiser, i have a weber. So wouldn't pretty much any fuel filter that would fit up to two fuel hoses work? is it really that truck specific... i figured i'd buy a 2 dollar one and run like 3 of them... can never have clean enough gas...


anybody know any replacement numbers? I mean i have and inline aftermarket replacements for the MG that would fit perfect? any reason why i couldn't run that

What size fuel line are you using?

1/4, 5/16, 3/8?

CFI 86001 1/4"

CFI 86002 5/16"

CFI 86003 3/8"

yeah i load up on cheap fram g-12 filters, throw one right before the carb, as long as they fit the lines then i dont think it matters.

some filters are made to be before the pump, not after. Check and make sure it is installed accordingly.

Strange as it is, autozone can get fram filter cartridges for my 69.
