I need to get a service manual for my 1988 FJ62. Is the Factory Service Manual the best option or are there other good options? Who has the best prices on the FSM?

The Haynes manual is pretty detailed as well, but the one manual covers quite a few years('80-'96). At least mine does. I don't know. Are there other(more specific) Haynes available.

Get the FSM. All others are too generic once you get serious in repairing your truck.

If possible, get the '90 FSM, has a few improvements & details. I got mine on ebay for $50.

So no changes to the engine and chassis from 1988 to 1990 right?

I see SOR has the 1990 engine & chassis manual for $86, so I may get that if all applies to my 1988.

Hmmm...is this less expensive than ordering through the Toyota Print Office?
