I just recently installed a new compressor in the shop. This compressor still works, but the rings are weakening, and it takes too long to refill for shop use. I think it would be tolerable for a home mechanic, but more likely you'll want to change the pump unit out. I just didn't have the patience. Compressor was always used and stored in doors and, other than the weakening piston rings, still looks and runs like a champ.
Something like this should make it run like new again, without the price tag of a complete unit of this quality.

5hp, 60 gallon tank, single phase 220v Leeson motor. Only available at this point to current members of the Trail Crew. If it doesn't sell in a week or two, I'll take it to craigslist.
