Does anyone know? I have a 1978 fj-40. I found a 1987 tacoma that I can get the front hub wheel lockouts. Question ;does anyone know if they will work on my fj-40. On the exterior, they look like they have the same number of nuts and bolts in the right places and distances, but what about the internals? anybody know????

IFS mini truck stuff won't fit on a solid axle Cruiser or mini. Even worse, you have the 76-78 longer birfs, so stock 79- Aisin hubs tend to bind on the outer stub shaft. Either buy aftermarket, or look for a piar of Asco hubs that came on 76-79 FJ55s. Cheapest generic hubs I found were MileMarker units via JC Whitney at about $70 a few years back.
