not a jeep guy but one of my kids freinds just bought a yj i think.he thought his steering box bolts were loose ,so i looked at it and the whole front frame unibody moves like half inch .i said he should weld a heavy gauge 1x2 inch hss across to tie the two frame rails together.he has big tires big lift big heart big dreams and a little brain, bad combo unless your into 4x4ing.i dont want to steer him wrong but it seems there is alot happening there shock mounts springs lateral bar torsion bar.im quite suprised the radiator has not twisted yet .ive had a couple ford bush trucks, and had to do this on the top of the rad supprts on all of them .would this fix his flex problem, welding the bottoms together or does he have to plate the frame rail back to the body.
