Having recently converted to a Dissent front bumper, the only issue I have seen is that my front parking sensors no longer function (which means that none of the parking sensors function). I did damage both original sensors in trying to move them into the rubber grommets in the Dissent bumper by removing their outer shells...that did not work. I purchased replacement sensors and dremeled the bumper openings to take the entire sensor, but cannot get the parking assist to see the new sensors (though they work fine when connected to the rear sensor harness). I have established continuity through the wiring harness back to the Clearance ECU.
At this point it seems like the front sensing loop of the ECU might have failed but I find that a bit coincidental. Also it's currently hard to find the 89340-60170 ECU. On my OBD app the front sensor loop shows "open" and gives the C1AEC trouble code.
Wondering if others have seen similar issues with the parking sensors when changing front bumpers, and how they overcome.
