Front Turn signals, Whats the differance pre and post 1980

only difference in stock form I know about, is one has 2 wires and the other has 3 wires. can't remember which has how many wires, but I do recall that being the difference.

So the later model one has two wires, what does it mean? Does it ground to body and then use the other 2 wires?

Shane, I'll look when I get home this weekend. From what I remember they all had bullet type connectors.

The later models are disco, so how to convert the early pre 1980 to 8/81 and later.

I will get a pic tomorrow. But a '75 has 2 wires for the front signals. If they are reversed, turn signal will not blink.
BTW- points were fried in the dizzy. Truck runs like a raped ape

I have an earlier (I bought it as one anyway) and it has 2 wires, 1 green, 1 green/yellow. One for the flasher, one for the driving light and you ground to the fender.
