Hey guys
I just bought this 1986 fj60 and I am removing the shackle reversal deal off the front .

I’m going to fabricate new frame bracket, but don’t know placement.

Can someone measure where the original Center of the shackle bracket is located in reference to —-maybe the rivets for the body mount ? (See pic).

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Does this help? Mine had to be removed and rewelded on because my driver side frame was cracked under the front edge. Included the passenger side.

is all the weight on the springs?
shackle angle doesn't look so good.
how does it ride?
Your saying it’s too vertical or not enough? Rode well but very little till I found I was having engine issues and pulled the whole thing apart. Truck is minus it’s entire engine. Tcase/trans is still in but supported by jack stands.

the shackle angle will be different with the engine and such installed. the shackle angle should be going away from the axle, not towards it.
if it stayed like it is the shackles could easily invert
