Is there a proper/easier way to install the doors? I'm assuming that you do the bottom section then install the rest of the door- i.e window section to the upper then drop down. I'm assuming that I would tape up the door opening and hope for a friend to help with the alignment?

I've always installed my 74 40 doors in one piece.

I recently had both of them torn down and put back together. I simply put the hinges mid adjustment, left the bolts only snug, lifted them into place, and dropped the pins in. To fine tune the alignment I loosened the top hinge and a couple to the lower bolts and lifted the rear of the door and re tightened the bolts. It took only took a few minutes to fine tune it.
