Has anyone mounted the SOR HD bumper grill/brush guard on their 40?
The price seems good compared to the ARB. Or other than a custom unit any other ideas ?

Hi All:

Mike, I've seen both the ARB Bull Bar for the 40/45 Series, and the S-O-R brush guard, and the ARB unit is mucho more stout!

The ARB unit may also be over-kill for your use - it was designed to protect the vehicle's frontend from impacts of kangaroos, etc. at speed. Personally, I used an ARB Bull Bar on another brand vehicle to "take out" a VW Golf in a traffic accident - the vehicle wearing the Bull Bar is still on the road, the (minor) damage still present, if one looks for it, while the Golf went to VW heaven.

What do you want a "brush guard" for anyways?

To guard against brush whilst driving through the brush. jk
