I'm planning to install a front sway bar quick disconnect, e.g. Front Sway Bar Disconnect Install - 80 Series - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/front-sway-bar-disconnect-install-80-series.941529/. Looking at the pictures, there are two threaded holes that it mounts into:

However, on mine there is a large rubber bump stop in what I think is the same location. Do I just remove that to install the bracket??

You still have the bump stop inside the coil.

Some 80's came with the front on the frame too and others didn't. Mine did not, so when I installed the front disconnect kit it was just bolt on.

I'm not sure if you can keep those and still pin the sway bar out of the way, they might be in the way...

Looks like you would need to modify to use both.

I think the 95' on does not have the bump stop there, just inside the coil. Just remove those and attach the disconnect brackets.

both my 93 & 94 do not have this bump stop for the front as pictured. it is for the rear however.
Ive seen a few. Maybe its a crawl mod that some folks do.
