Front axle seal (1 Viewer)

Could anyone tell me if the thicker side of the axle seal faces out,i have bent 2 trying to put back in.
Guess i should have taken more notice with the old one, i thought it may have been the other way around , thanks

Before trying to stuff in the next seal leaving it in a freezer for several hours prior to installation. Cold will contract the seal and it will go in easier.

Hello,
1. Are you working with the rear axle or front axle?

2. If it is the rear axle then is it semi-float or full float?

3. Please post a picture if you can.
