I'm considering this 1988 FJ62 with 161,000 miles. According to owner its spent its whole life in California. The owner just sent these pictures of the undercarriage. I appreciate any feedback you have, what looks broken, what looks good, what looks shot. Thanks in advance.

Sure looks good to me, as an undercarriage in general.
 
Looks really great. Grime is good. Protects the steel. Lots of orange crumbly, flakey, swollen rusty steel is not. Id give it a 8+ on a scale of 10 with 10 being new.
 
Where is the exterior shots? Frame looks good anything better would be new or restored. How's the body and how much is he asking?
 
Literally the day after this post, someone bought it! Luckily I found one a week later (although it was 1,700 miles away) and I jumped on it.
