As I said no major damage but I did do this -

I tried to explain to my wife my 'damaged' rear bumper must be replaced immediately - she was not buying it so it will be awhile before I get my swing out. This picture also shows how low my spare is hangin
 
One minor issue I had was with my dissent front bumper. This happened on my previous trip but I thought I fixed it when I installed my winch and realigned the bumper. When I mounted the bumper I had it installed over the front 'lip' and it was even on both sides. After wheeling the passenger side popped down over the lip. I had tried to use the spacers to lower both sides below the lip but that did not work. Not sure if I should just cut some of the lip off or get the brackets made for the body lift - I thought I could get away without new brackets since I only went with 0.5" BL.

I wonder how just spacers in the rear with stock springs would compare to the 80's springs?

I honestly haven't looked to see if it's possible on the 100's, but on 80's you can space the spare tire crane up. I used 3/4" spacers and that brought my spare up the same amount. That may be something you want to look at.

I cut my lip off. Not because I had to for clearance, but because I know I will be running a BL at some point. I was going to paint it black anyway (the gap was really noticible on my white LX).

You will either need to cut the lip off or get some 1" body lift brackets and extra shims to accommodate the 1/2" body lift. If you decide to cut the lip you can actually slide the bumper back a little and get a tighter fit but you would need to drill the frame holes bigger. You could also slide the bumper forward some to clear the lip but that would give a pretty big gap, this would also require the holes to be enlarged. Also check and make sure the body mount bolts are good and tight after the body lift install.

Or further up to get the whole lip off? Is it possible to just drill the rivets and take the whole piece off?
 
So I ended up hacking a bit more than I initially planned. Looking at where the bumper was rubbing I was afraid I would still hit the lip if I just cut where I had drawn the red line. This may have been a bit excessive but I think I can re-adjust the bumper to go up and back (per Benc) a bit more which will look better - just need to open up my mounting holes a bit more. I was pressed for time so I didn't take the bumper completely off.

Few notes on the trimming. I used a combination of an air cutoff wheel, dremel, and finally some tin snips. The tin snips actually worked pretty well, if I had to do it over again I would start with those. They did cause a little bit of bending but that was easily fixed with a small hammer.
 
License Plate Hack Job. Didn't want to drill new holes in my pretty new bumper so took tin snips to my license plate.

End of the year medical buy. Now I am motivated to build a drawer/storage setup to mount this beauty. It is from outer limit supply. Very robust, it secures nicely to the mounting plate and everything is well organized - also great customer service and fast shipping.

HID Installed. Thanks to the various threads on MUD.

I had a cheap HID kit I had bought to do my foglights in my m3 decided to throw them in the LX. I did have to modify the bulb base slightly to get them to fit. Besides that easy install. I ended up using wire ties to hold the ballasts behind the side marker/turn signals. While they are in there good I will eventually bolt them in.

So overall this is a great improvement over stock but the cutoff is not great. Compared to my M3 which has a proper conversion the LX falls way short. I will most likely do the TSX-R lens swap.

So jelly on the snow - looks like it's going to miss Boston this time around :(

I measured around 16"-19" so far supposedly we could get another 12".

I stuck to my neighborhood but the coopers were awesome, traction was great - Dissent bumper and BIOR front skid sure help when your going through 4' snow plow drifts.

LOL I think you got us beat we have about 14 now; it was about 10 or 12 this morning when I drove my neighbor to work; I hate working in healthcare but love Mr Toyoda he makes good vehicles. What sucks is that by the time I made it back home from the hospital my driveway was covered over already lol I'm not going back out till it STOPS lol
