Decided to give my wife a break from the kids and take them wheeling for the afternoon on Friday. We got a late start, but hit Superior at about 3:15 and did the Telegraph Canyon Road, FR4, that loops around Picket Post mountain and back to the 60. It was a fun trail, and nothing technical at all. Lots of good views of the Superstitions, the valley, and pretty much all over from the top (but my camera battery died shortly after starting the trip). It was the first time I've been able to wheel with the sunroof open and the windows down since I got my 80. Very cool! I even found a spot to let my kids drive the cruiser around (ages 5 and 9). Lots of old mines and side roads. We were pressing hard to get to familiar road by dark with the late start though.
