I went to pick your parts last weekend and salvaged a 1995 T100 master Cylinder for my brake upgrade. After, I noticed that my parts truck has an upgraded master cylinder. I have no need for an extra master cylinder as I don’t see myself ever having to replace the one I just picked up.

Anyone who is doing an upgrade on their braking system is welcome to have it free. I will also mention that the pick your parts yard had 4runner calipers available since there were three third generation (1995+) 4Runners in the yard. They also had an awesome 1987 first generation 4Runner with a turbo. Unfortunately it has been ransacked but it was still cool to see. I grabbed a deck lamp switch out of it to say I have something off of it. The 4Runner reminds me of Ian’s but cooler (it has red interior.)

Anyways, I digress. Free master cylinder upgrade for the first Trailcrew member that wants it. I will also be around this weekend and available to help anyone salvage the 4Runner calipers.

I also have stock front FJ62 calipers for any FJ40 guys out there wanting to upgrade their front drum brakes. Again, free to any Trailcrew member that wants them.

I could use the 62 caliper cores. Still need brake lines?

Mark,
I have the stainless extended brake lines I got from you awhile back. How do the other ones differ? Are they longer?

Randy, I have a 91, do you know if that 100 M/C will replace mine? I have always had slightly spongy brakes, and I've done pretty much everything to this truck (brake-wise) except replace the M/C.

If it's the same size, I could use it.

thanks

The extra master cylinder I have will work on your cruiser since they all have the same bolt pattern. The larger bore of the master cylinder should help you out. pm me your phone number and I'll give you a call.

Sent you a PM with the numbers

thanks

Dana

Jose is going to take the master cylinder. Going to pick your parts tentatively the weekend of March 27th to find Jose some front calipers. lacruiser might join us and look for a master cylinder as well. We can use my Dad's shop space for a mini work party to install everything after picking.

Hmm, sounds good. I'll bring my DeWalt grinder. I have a feeling we might need it.

Jose,
I have a grinder and i doubt we'll need one.

I should be free this upcoming weekend. Let me know if you guys are free and we'll have at it.

This weekend isn't going to fly for me. On call on Sat and have to be near home. I'll keep you posted on a future date.

Same here, canyoneering in the san gabriels on saturday and diving at leo corillo on sunday.

Hahahaha. I know I'd need it for the Dust Shields..they need to be trimmed for the 4-runner calipers.

That's what backing plate eliminators are for!:grinpimp:
