Apologies if it has already been mentioned, but I've found these anti-rattle / sway clamps to work a lot better than the sheet metal shims I used to use to stabilize these types of hitch mounted carriers -

I have one of these, and have never been able to make it work on my 200s. I have another that is more like a wedge that works better.

When you run these hitch mounted baskets, especially in conjunction with a riser, you end up with “dead space” between your truck and the basket. I found that if you use some axle u bolts and waffle board, you can add a smaller platform to your basket for mounting items. I plan to get slightly longer u bolts so I can stack two waffleboards and then put my easy up 10x10 tent in that spot for camping. The waffleboards I’ll perhaps use in lieu of my max trax when others get stuck.
I used parts from a cheap hitch anti wobble bracket on the bottom of the u bolts.
You can buy waffleboard trimmings pretty cheap from various places online. I got mine from an eBay seller (outside of eBay) based in North Carolina.
