I’ve recent picked up a pristine RHD HDJ81 from Japan and I’d like to beef up the suspension just a bit.
After searching the particular part number, I can’t find any evidence of anyone running this particular shock. It’s a universal model, but has a stud mount on top and eye mount on bottom.
30.3” extended
18.2” collapsed
And 12.1” travel
I’d like to pair these with 3.5 or 4” Dobinson springs and all the necessary additions to accommodate.
Anyone here have experience with these shocks? Or see a reason they wouldn’t work? I’m fresh over from the 3rd gen Tacoma world. So I’m still learning a bit.
