I got the shocks and spacer lift installed on Saturday. Initially I only had 1/2" of rake, and could definitely feel the "floaty" feeling others have described. I brought it back down to 1" rake, and it pretty much all went away. I'm kind of surprised that small of an adjustment would have that big of an impact. My upper shock bolts were impenetrable and I had to cut holes to use my impact. Once I was able to get them off the rest of the install was pretty easy overall. I did notice my springs were kinda rusty and had the coating coming off in several places, so new springs will probably be needed sooner rather than later.
As for the ride? I like it. My shocks weren't completely shot, but they were bad, and the difference is noticeable. Since my truck is my DD, I didn't want to go too stiff, and think the Fox will work well. Once I get sliders and skids this summer I may need to swap in the 200 series shocks though.
