Are you talking about a complete front axle assembly from an 80 series, or just the differential?

There might be some interference with the steering linkages and the springs. And you'll need a wider rear axle. (63" vs. stock 55")

DAM! 8" difference? i was going to cut off all the stock brackets and glue on some perches, but if it 8" wider that will put the diff interfering with my pass side leaf, right? dam could i just use the third member? thx

Can only use the third in a 8" Housing. Wont work with your cruiser axle. I don't recall how far out the diff sits on those, but you could outboard your front springs just like putting 60series axles under it.
