Looking to sell my 96 landbruiser to fund fixing up my 60 series... She’s no show queen but a well maintained/ recently baselined rig with 280,000 miles. No rust on the body or frame. Interior is a 6/10 but cleans up nice. Paint is in the same boat. The headgasket went out last summer. Lapped the valves/ new seals, all toyota parts. At that time I went ahead and did some maintenance on the top end, cleaned the EGR port so that the dreaded p0401 will stay away, cleaned the throttle body, tidied up the harness and wrapped the portion that goes by the EGR tube with a heat wrap. Runs great, passes emissions with flying colors. Also swapped out the radiator and radiator/ heater hoses/ PHH of course, thermostat & WP. All toyota except for the radiator (napa). Replaced the vacuum lines with toyota 6mm. AC & heat both work great.
Other stuff that I’ve done:
-Denso plugs/ Toyota plug wires/ Toyota Cap & rotor
-Toyota drivebelts/ idler pulley
-synthetic 75/90 for f&r diffs/ t-case,
-coolant flush after headgasket work
-BG AIS top engine clean
-Repacked front & rear wheelbearings
-Installed a TJM 2” “Progressive” lift. Fox 2.0 shocks
-Goodyear duratracs 315/75/16 stock rims. 4 @ 75% one is new.
-CDL switch
-Running board delete
Stuff that I plan on doing if I keep it:
-Rebuild doors (grease regulators, locks, replace window felts)
-Re-gear to 4.88s/ harrop e-lockers, it’ll make it up the passes on i70 with the flow of traffic but it works hard..
-Sliders
-new sound system
-Rebuild the front seats and get a new set of leather covers.
-Carpet kit/ weathertech mats
-Oil pump cover is leaking a little bit. I have the part just haven't knocked it out yet..
I have quite a few parts that will go with the cruiser as well.
Let me know if you have any questions. Again, it’s no show queen. If you are looking for a dialed 80 series that is ready to hit the mountains this summer then this is the rig for you. If you are looking to flip it on BAT then I wouldn't waste your time. If you don't dig the shag seat covers I will gladly hold onto them. Not looking to trade for anything unless it is a *mint* 80-85 4wd mini truck.
