Hey all, I'm going to be selling my cruiser and was seeing (before listing it on the main site) if anyone is interested here. It's been my "daily" (I don't drive too much) for 4ish years and took it on plenty of trips - great truck but got another project so have to move on. I've met a couple of you guys and gone on a couple hill country trips with this group as well. Tons of mechanical work to keep it reliable -

PO did all the flashy stuff (ARB bumper, ironman lift, 8k warn winch, touchscreen radio, snorkel, - see pics that show the obvious). I've put about 20k in the 4ish years, and am at 284k now. Just came back from 3 weeks in Durango and it performed great.

The good - lots (!) of expensive mechanical work done at LC. This includes big stuff (the small things I did myself), such as

  • New radiator + all radiator hoses, & misc vacuum replacement - 265k
  • blue fan clutch
  • Heater control valve + hoses
  • plugs, wires
  • steering dampener
  • hood struts
  • fusible links
  • Charcoal Canister
  • 315/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers (at 270k miles, so on about 14k now)
  • Front crank seal (272k); misc top end seals; coolant flush.
  • all new brake pads, new rotors front and rear, new rear calipers (272k)
  • Front birf rebuild, steering box rebuild, steering hoses, coolant flush, valve cover gasket (275k)
  • rear panhard bracket - delta - 269k
  • Sway bar drop blocks - 269k
  • spot/fog lights
  • control arm caster drop brackets (280k)
  • 100watts of solar panels, wiring, blue tooth controller, inverter on console (280k) - I did this
  • hand throttle (never use it)
  • Heater T hose (280k)
  • I've also done miscellaneous things through my ownership, like ultragauge, steering wheel leather, driver seat gear, bulbs, steering damper shock, replaced badging, etc.
I'm probably forgetting stuff. LC specialists told me about 10k miles ago that PHH looks good. No rust, at all. I also have some spare parts, wires, belts, stock roof rack that would go with the vehicle. all windows, sun roof work perfect.

Old car stuff -
it burns some oil. I can't pin it down, as the top end is totally dry and the bottom end barely seeps oil. Doesn't bother me too much, I just top it off every 1k(ish) miles or so.
There's a "rumble" in drive, at a stop, with the AC blasting. Also doesn't bother me that much because it's a rare set of conditions. Probably a mount somewhere.
There are a couple cracks in the dash, but only one visible from driver seat as 3/4 are behind the gauge cluster.
Paint isn't perfect - some yellowing on front fenders, miscellaneous scratches, etc. It's been in the wilderness. It looks fine from 10 ft, but inspect closely and it's noticeable.
Other miscellaneous old car stuff that everyone should be used too - rattle here or there over rough road, but really not that bad at all or very noticeable...I think it's actually all from my homemade 80/20 rack so take that off if you care.

This is a great daily, and great for 4x4 adventures, just have other projects that need attention!

Looking for $15k OBO - let me know if I'm totally out of bounds on the price. Thanks!

I think you could get that much. I don't see whether it is triple locked or not. Is the bottom portion of the paint rhino/bedliner? I sold my 95, center diff lock only, with 237K miles and a bit more stock than yours with less up to date PM for $11,500. I had guys offer up to $12,500 without looking at it. Good time to be selling. I sold mine via FB marketplace. It sold same day, cash deal.

Thanks for the feedback - yea mine is a '97 and not locked, which I forgot to mention. Bottom is sprayed-on bedliner. I figured someone local may want to jump on it - didn't want to deal with tire kickers on FB if possible. I'll probably post on wider sites next week.

I could see some pushback on the price since not triple locked and the paint, but I think I underpriced mine a bit. I was surprised how well it went listing through FB, but it did get annoying with how many people were pinging me. Good luck!

The Yurtle!

I'll wait until you die, then I'll sell Yurtle... ;)
That should work. Long as I don’t have to see her go. But don’t list it just yet.…
I think I’ve got a few miles left in the tank. 🥴🤞🙏

Looking for a replacement AHC switch. Does anyone who has ditched their AHC still have one they don’t need? Thanks
Check with @MeWantLC in Katy. I sold my AHC-removed 100 him, and it has an unused switch.
