Sales post. I have 2 -1979 fj40s. I am selling both 40s and all parts for $3500. My intention was to rewire the green one and make it an offroad toy. I am just too busy and don't have enough free time to mess with them. I'm offering them to someone in the club first.
1. One was previously running. It is painted flat green and has a fuel cell and battery in the back. The switches are on the roof. It was previously running but it's been sitting for atleast 1 or 2 yrs since I had it running. I think the starter is stuck currently, the battery is dead as well.
2. The other 40 was rusted so I removed the bad parts and kept the dash section. There's an engine at robs. Rusted frame for it is at robs as well. Large pile of parts in the back of my garage as well. I plan on keeping the rollbar for my bj41 but all other parts go with the sale.

Although in this photo the decal isn’t permanently attached, this is what they’ll look like. We had decals made up for every Cruiser currently driven by club members.
