Hi All,
It's time to sell the old cruiser. Let me know if you're interested in seeing/driving it (510)414-2997 or kennygreenberg(at)gmail.com.
Thanks,
Kenny

VEHICLE:
1980 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 with ~120K miles. A purpose-built trail rig (great rock-crawler) although it drives fine on the street considering the modifications. Over $2000 recently spent (Dec. 2004) at Urban Landcruisers on advanced tune-up, carb rebuild, all new fluids, new power steering pump, have receipts. Has not been driven since work was completed. Asking $6000 obo. Truck is located in Atlanta.

ENGINE:
Strong 2F, rebuilt bottom end @ 80K miles (crankshaft, crank bearings, harmonic balancer), rebuilt cylinder head, new camshaft, Weber 38mm DGAS carb (rebuilt in 2004), headers, new exhaust with catalytic converter. Vehicle last passed GA emissions in 2000 with no problem. Aftermarket high-capacity radiator and electric cooling fan.

DRIVETRAIN:
Toyota (Australian version) Lo-Ratio 4-Speed Transmission with 4.925:1 granny gear, Centerforce clutch, early 3-speed transfer case with 2.313:1 low-range gives nice low 47:1 crawl ratio. Lengthened and strengthened custom driveshafts, stock axles with 4:10 ring & pinion, locking differentials front and rear (ARB airlocker in front, and welded spider gears in rear). Disc brakes front (stock) and rear (GM), proportioning valve, rebuilt calipers and master cylinder, stainless steel extended brake lines. 36X14.50 TSL Super Swamper Radial tires (~1/2 tread) mounted on custom black steel 15x10 wheels.

SUSPENSION & STEERING:
6” suspension lift (4” Skyjacker springs and 2” shackle reversal), Rancho RS-9000 adjustable shocks, 2” custom body lift, wheelbase extended 2". GM Saginaw power steering box and pump (new), dropped pitman arm, power steering cooler, all new tie-rod ends, reinforced tie rods and relay rods. All suspension pivot points have grease fittings. Suspension is extremely flexible giving great articulation off-road and GM power steering conversion turns 36” tires with ease.

BODY:
Body is rough, definitely not a show truck or even worth a restoration without significant bodywork. There are many problem areas with rust and dents and body damage. Floorboards and rear of tub has rust holes typical of old Landcruisers. Hard top and doors are included but disassembled.

ACCESSORIES:
Full custom rollcage (trail tested), Warn 8274 winch, custom stainless steel fairlead, custom “shorty” front bumper with shackles, dual batteries and isolator, stainless steel battery box, Recaro seats (need covers).
