1967 FJ45 for sale $8000 or best offer over $7000 I drove this Cruiser into a barn 10 years ago. The body is in good shape, has minor surface rust. Right front fender has light damage. I have a complete 66 fj40 with a very nice front end for parts. F engine, 3 speed on the tree. Many new parts . I have all original seats /frame are good needs to be recovered. This has correct front vent windshield, correct 2 piece hood, both doors correct with bug catcher side vent windows. Not many left!

Enjoy.

looks like a 66 not 67 to me, vent in window frame not used in 67, dash is 66 or before.

8-10K............well best of luck to you :)

was a F 145 correct for 66? or was it still a F- 135? carb looks like a 2 barrel? should have been a 1 barrel in 66.....no?

The sight glass on the carb don't right either or is just me.

......and it will make a nice project...I like it. :)

I have 2 extra carbs.intakes and exhaust manifolds for the cruiser. I own a 65fj 40v,2 1966 fj40"s the title looks to be correct .Toyota was know in the past for using any parts they had on there shelves to finish a car/truck. I will also throw in an additional transmission and tranfer case.

45

That is definately a 66. It has bug catchers and a vented windshield frame. I have a 67 truck that still has the single barrel carb and it is original. Motor looks to be unoriginal.

no offense, but price seems awefully high to me. 5k-6k, yes.

yup, check that brass tag on the VIN........thats why its titled as a 67, but its a 66 in reality. I would also look at your other 40's, good chance they are a year older than you think they are.

where in WA is it?

here is the VIN plate on my 65 fj40, the T-66 means titled new in 1966

great reseaching

I don't have the vast collection that you have .I currently own 10 cruisers 65 66 67 71 72 75 76 77 and a 84 fj60 . I have lots of parts. Kids are off to college so I must sell 4 or 5 cruisers.

According to Mark, F145 started 9/66. So, maybe that's an original engine/carb.

I'm going in the opposite direction on this one Dave. I'd bet dollars to donuts that motor's a swap and that what we are looking at here is a 64 that is just a little older than ours. Most of the old F135s got swapped out the first time the fibre cam gear lunched.

Consider:

1. Heater fan inlet is diagonal. Not seen one of those beyond mid-65.
2. Battery tray is end mounted studs, not inboard-outboard. Not seen one of those beyond 64.
3. 66 truck would have standard vent windows, not bugcatchers. My 1966 that 66LWB45 now has in Jersey is set up like that.

Soooo, it's missing the passenger seat [not exactly easy to come by] pull down levers for the windshield frame, but it's still pretty straight and light in the rust department. Though I still have a hard time believing it's so, I'm thinking that in today's market this is now a 6-7k rig, maybe a bit more on a good week at Ebay.

Course the motor's prolly smoked by now being run without an air cleaner.

Damn Mark, you and Landpimp are the gurus, good of you to catch those details.
