I have a 78 fj40 with a marks 350 conversion. I can‘t find which clutch needs to go in as a replacement. If anyone has a stock flywheel sitting around could you measure across, center to center on the bolt holes? I did order a stock land cruiser clutch but I may have been sent a mislabeled box or i am completely off the map.

I'm guessing you have a Chevy 350 V8 in your 1978 using a Marks 4 speed adapter- -yes??? I think you might find some interesting reading at ebay #264808322913

LUK has worked great for me for 25 years with the housing I bought from Downey (1st clutch).

***** The specific bores of my ‘74 clutch slave and master cylinder would yield more travel than some other years. That combined with a stainless steel braided clutch line has meant I’ve never had any problems with clutch adjustment and/or free play

To do it over, I’d likely buy the clutch Jim now sells. In 1996 I followed the instructions that came with the Downey Conversion kit.
