Nice Cruiser! What's the story on the 350? Was it a dealer install or later? How is it running, use any oil, starting, compression check? What's the history of the cruiser?

Thanks,

I bought it about 5 years ago from a nice guy in Georgia. I was told the engine was a from a ‘78 pickup. I never looked into it further.

It runs fine to me. I’m sure it burns a little bit of oil yes.

Has an exhaust leak driver side can kinda see next to valve cover/header. There’s a ground issue that I cannot find. But after one click it starts right up and runs fine for me.

Does the registration say 1976 or 1975, curious at the build date being October 75? If it was in fact 75, it would be a candidate for the California market.
My 40 has a build date of 12/78 and is registered as a 78.
