Hey gang I’m putting together a trip to the flint hills. We will do some fishing/exploring. We will camp at state parks or camp grounds. I’m finilizing the route and campgrounds. Please post up if you are interested.

Flint Hills National Wildlife Refuge

Established in 1966, Flint Hills National Wildlife Refuge occupies an area of the broad Neosho River Valley upstream of John Redmond Reservoir. The wetlands that dominate the Refuge are prime resting areas for migratory waterfowl and a paradise for waterfowl observation and hunting.

Appreciate it! We got rooms at a hotel a block away so we don’t have to walk far. My guess is there will be plenty of libations so staying close is always better.
