I recently saw this modified 95 Prado in Japan.

FLEX is a large car dealer that specializes in Land Cruisers and is building a sub-brand "Renoca" for used Cruiser customizations. One of their models will be this 95 Prado that has a 78 grille and overfenders and whatnot. It is not really my favorite color, and I think the mods are a bit over-the-top and more cosmetic than functional (e.g. the wheels) I thought it was worth sharing.

I saw a Prado built by them that had 60 series fascia. I'd never seen the 70 series Prado one.

Those guys have awesome vehicles for sure.

This is an old link, but I think this is really nifty.

Here is an article from TheDrive.com about this place: TheDrive.com.

And a link to the site to custom configure a Land Cruiser: Renoca LC Configurator

Is there anyone doing anything like this in the USA? Anywhere else in the world besides Japan?

Definitely rad. I'd love.to give my wife's 100 series the flex-60-series treatment. But alas... Even the beginnings of assembling parts is off the charts pricey.

I'm happy with my swb-round-light-equipped 90, but the retro vibe is sure cool.
