Hi there. I just got through replacing the globes on my 1998 LX470 but the AHC 'off' light is flashing off and on and won't allow me to turn the AHC system on. This wasn't a problem prior to changing the globes. Any suggestions on what to try to fix it?

Sounds like you may need to bleed your globes and accumulator. There could be some air in the lines causing issues.

Thanks for the response! Trying to bleed them but the pump doesn't seem to be pressurizing the lines to bleed them.

If you allowed the pump reservoir to drain dry, you might have induced air into the pump itself. Forum member PADDO might be able to give you some insight on how to rectify this.

Wondering if there is some way to keep the pump running to help bleed it.

Manually clear codes (searchable) and try again. If that doesn't work then manually force the pump to operate. I've previously posted the procedure and it involves shorting a couple of terminals in DLC1 and augmenting the height/damping switch. Steaks burning and beer is empty - gotta go but the info is here somewhere.

Got it to work but be a seemingly unconventional way. I tried both the Tc E1 and Ts E1 but they didn't seem to do anything. Wound up applying power directly to the AHC pump which forced a bunch of air out of the accumulator and the. I was all set.
