I have not had much luck here in Australia finding any direct plug in replacement for Toyota's standard flasher relay. My 80 uses the factory 81980-32010. All the electronic flasher relays I've found so far (from Australian company Tridon) are still load-dependent. The only option might be to use a generic 3-pin flasher relay for LEDs that is not load-dependent. Has anyone done this?

Alternatively is there a direct plug in flasher relay to suit LED indicator lamps that is not load-sensitive?

I found this via a google search but not sure if it's ok in an 80:

The same place has another LED flasher unit (out of stock) which looks to have a similar connection arrangement.

Thanks, Craig.

We use the Novita EP36 when installing our front bumper (LED turn signals). Available at our local auto parts stores with “made in USA” labeled packaging. I ordered one on Amazon (pics showed identical part and packaging) and it said “made in thailand” when it arrived. Did not work at all in shop rig, had to toss. Went back to the ones marked US from then on.
